Rum Sponge #17 Long Pond 2004 70cl
Dieser Rum wurde 2004 von Long Pond aus Melasse Trauben in Jamaica, Jamaica hergestellt.Er reifte für 18 Jahre in einem Eichenfass und wurde 2023 für Rum Sponge in Trinkstärke mit 60.0% abgefüllt. Für die Destillation wurde eine Pot Still verwendet.
Sponge schreibt zu diesem Rum: "Avast ye land Spongers! Ahoy be Rum Sponge Edition No.17 - an 18 year old Long Pond Jamaican Rum bottled at a timber-shivering 60%!
This single recycled rum barrel of Jamaican legend Long Pond was matured for 13 years* in Jamaica, before being early-landed in the dis-United Kingdom for the rest of its wood-bound life.
When we got our grubby little Sponge paws upon it, we reduced it from around 66% to 60% and shoved it into these lovely, astonishingly standardised bottles for you.
*We only found this out after the rear label was printed. Which now contains highly collectable incorrect information. A deliberate tribute to independent bottlers from days or yore!"
