Rum Sponge #25 Clarendon 10 Years Old 70cl
Dieser Rum wurde von Clarendon aus Melasse in Jamaica hergestellt.
Er reifte für mindestends 10 Jahre in einem Eichenfass und wurde für Rum Sponge in Trinkstärke mit 57.1% abgefüllt. Für die Destillation wurde eine Pot Still verwendet.

This is a multi-vintage bottling created from two different barrels of Clarendon. A 2013 1st fill barrel of EMB Clarendon which was matured in Jamaica before being landed in the UK in 2019, combined with a 2011 barrel of Monymusk. We’re not sure how long the 2011 was tropically aged for.
We dumped these two casks together, muddled them up, and re-casked the mix into the same two barrels to continue maturing. Half of it was bottled with several degrees reduction as this very bottling. The rest will be left to fester and stew even longer.
This lovely Clarendon tastes like receiving a face mask made of raw esters while sipping expensive cocktails from a cored pineapple and listening to rare and difficult jazz."
