Dieses Eau de Vie wurde 2015 von einer geheimen Destillerie in Elsass aus Birnen in Frankreich hergestellt.

Er ruhte für 9 Jahre in Demijohns (Glasballons) und wurde 2024 für Swell de Spirits in Trinkstärke mit 45.0% abgefüllt. Für die Destillation wurde eine Pot Still verwendet.

Swell de Spirits schreibt zum Wild Nature #14 folgendes:
"Pear Eau de Vie 2015 from a Secret Alsatian Distillery, Rested in Dame Jeanne for 9 years, 45%, only 200 bottles, 500 ml

Singing and laughing together on an Alsatian walk at the end of summer, avoiding the chaos of juicy pears left behind by a brawl between wild kids.

Color : Clear

Nose : The pear bursts forth from the first notes, mixing the freshness of the crunchy pear with the sweetness of an overripe pear. The grain of the fruit is melted, sprinkled with a little almond powder, creating a soft and enveloping sensation. The whole is very gourmet, evoking pear candies, with a subtle sweetness reminiscent of syrup. We perceive the evolution of this eau de vie through nuances of cooked, even dried, pear.

Palate : On the palate, it is an explosion of freshness with a sharp pear attack, accompanied by a mineral hint, evoking flint, and slightly peppery. We find ourselves directly transported hiking in the Vosges with these impressions of fresh mountain air, sublimated by a slight salty hint. Touches of citrus zest bring a beautiful liveliness, while the gourmet roundness of the pear compote and pear syrup is revealed. The texture is oily, almost honeyed as time passes, bringing additional depth and richness.

Finish : The finish is long, very long! Fresh and bright, with a pear sorbet at the top, followed by mineral touches. A pear concentrate evoking a freshly squeezed pear juice as well as a salty hint persist, giving way to notes of roasted pear enhanced by a delicate mountain breeze.
