Swell de Spirits Los Convidados Mezcal #1 Chacolo 2023 50cl
Dieser Mezcal wurde 2023 von der Destillerie Chacolo aus Lineño Agaven in Mexiko hergestellt.
Er wurde ohne Fassreife in 2023 für Swell de Spirits ohne Reduzierung des Alkoholgehaltes mit 45.3% abgefüllt. Für die Destillation wurde eine Pot Still aus Holz verwendet.
Swell de Spirits schreibt zum Mezcal #1 folgendes:
"Swell de Spirits X Los Convidados, Agave Spirits Distillerie Chacolo, Batch 01/23, Agave 100% Lineno over 9 years old, Cooking in underground oven, Extraction of juice by hand with wooden mallet, Fermentation with wild yeasts for 25 days in wooden vats with agave fibers, Double Distillation in Philippine Still with wood liver, Brut d'Alambic, 45.3%, only 836 bottles, 500ml
Hold the railing along the damp brick walls as you descend to the cellar to pick a selection of root vegetables for a warming seasonal soup, peppery parsnips, rutabagas and sweet potatoes resting on a bed of hay.
Color : Clear
Nose : Funky with warm hay, graphite powder, peppermint, licorice, orange and cinnamon cake, raspberry buns, melon, molasses, "sweet mouse" treats, jelly beans and paper bags, as well as potatoes, sweet potatoes and mineral notes.
Palate : So sweet and creamy with notes of warm honey, warm hay, glacé cherries and melon, cinnamon hot chocolate with whipped cream, icing sugar, roasted sweet potato pie, parsnip, sage, lemon thyme, coastal brick and mineral notes.
Finish : Sweet potato and hay giving way to lemon and cinnamon buns and lingering notes of root vegetables and minerals.
Conclusion : A wonderfully balanced and funky Mezcal with vegetal and mineral notes."
