Swell de Spirits Private Garden #11 Tobermory 1994 50cl (09/2023)
Dieser Whisky wurde 1994 von Tobermory aus gemälzter Gerste in Schottland hergestellt.Er reifte für 29 Jahre in einem Eichenfass und wurde 2023 für Swell de Spirits in Fassstärke mit 55.80% abgefüllt. Für die Destillation wurde eine Pot Still verwendet.

Color: Pinot Grigio
Nose: Overripe pineapple, rum and raisin fondant, grape jam, pecan pie, peach crumble, cherry pie, butterscotch, lemon curd, ground coffee, letterbox Ancient.
Mouth: Wow! A funky punch with freshly printed glossy magazines, overripe pineapples and apples, followed by a rush of warming spices, fruit smoke, rum and raisin caramel, stewed stone fruits , lemon curd, fruit tarts, mozzarella, antiseptic lotion and chrome door handles.
Finish: Pleasant with dried fruits and spices, all nicely accompanied by woody notes such as freshly cut oak.
Nose with water: Chocolate-covered bananas, Brazil nuts and milk chocolate hazelnuts, rum and raisin caramel, cardboard box of vanilla caramel, vanilla milkshake, crème caramel, butterscotch and talcum powder with roses.
Mouth with water: We find charred crumpets with butter and lemon cream, rose cream on butter croissants, pineapple and banana fritters with candied cherries, candied chestnuts, a vanilla cheesecake decorated with canned tangerine slices, raisin bread and fruit tartlets with brandy cream.
Finish with water: A long and lingering finish filled with spices, salted caramel candies and exotic fruits.
Conclusion: A sublime unpeated Ledaig sherry-bomb, a perfect balance between funky fruit esters and Ledaig distillate. A delicious Christmas Whiskey.
